The project will show the power of DARE by working intimately with two research infrastructures: EPOS (European Plate Observing System) and IS-ENES (Infrastructure for the European Network of Earth System Modelling), engaging in the co-design and production use of extreme methods that address these challenges.

Vision

DARE will enable scientists and research developers to create high-impact services and applications for research that exploits the full potential of huge data assets and a diverse ecosystem of e-infrastructures

Goals & Motivation

The DARE project will pioneer and demonstrably prove a methodology and an integrated set of sup-porting technologies that will transform European RIs productivity and rate of innovation when three challenges: extreme data, extreme computation and extreme complexity are faced simultaneously

Objectives

1. Pioneer an integrated development and delivery hyper-platform for creating, refining and running abstract method 2. Provide an integrated set of tools for examining and managing methods, their repeated use and their data by exploiting a hierarchy of high-level programmable services 3. Deliver demonstrations of the sustainability and productivity gains provided by DARE to expert teams creating, refining and using methods dealing with extreme data and computation boundaries. 4. Training and consultation.
